FRI serves more than just the apparel industry. With deep roots into the evolution of virtual worlds, it also has a firm commitment to the development of designers in both the apparel industry and in the emerging niche market of virtual goods design.   By working with leading technology companies, FRI is developing a system whereby both content creators and operators of various virtual world platforms may readily move the rich 3D content around from creator to world, simply, easily, and quickly. Both virtua designers, and apparel designers using Black Dress Design Studio, benefit from this system as their designs become more valuable and saleable.
